I photograph when I feel that something elusive appears in everyday reality — as if another layer shines through familiar things.
Sometimes it feels like a child’s sense of mystery; sometimes, it’s more like a philosophical question: what does the act of seeing do, how is perception itself formed?
Rather than looking for an answer, I'm trying to stay with the question.. I don’t aim to explain.
I’m simply learning to see—attentively, without rushing, trying to catch those moments when reality reveals itself not through what is seen, but through what is felt behind it.
